KIMBALL- Although the game ended early due to lightning, that didn’t stop Peyton Abbott to rush for 159 yards off of six carries, and scored four times, to help the Bridgeport football team defeat Kimball, 67-22, Friday night in Kimball. 

Senior Kason Loomis added 147 rushing yards on five carries. Adding to the scoreboard was Chase McGarth with a pick-six, and Kolby Lussetto.

The Bulldogs ended the game with a total of 348 rushing yards off of 18 carries and did not attempt to throw the ball once.  

Kimball senior Trey Schindler had 79 rushing yards on eight carries and scored two of the three Longhorns' touchdowns. Justin Klaustreman finished with 70 rushing yards, 23 receiving yards, and a touchdown to help the Kimball end the night with 180 rushing yards off of 40 carries. They finished with 200 total yards.  

Bridgeport improves to 5-2, 3-0 in D1-11, and will play their last regular season home game against Morrill (0-6) next Friday at 6 p.m.

Kimball drops to a 1-5 record, 1-1 in D1-11. They travel to Hemingford to take on the Bobcats (0-5) next Friday at 7 p.m.
