Bridgeport to return to postseason after unbeaten district season

BRIDGEPORT - The Bridgeport football team finished the regular season with an undefeated record in D1-11 district play. 

Kason Loomis scored twice and rushed for 61 yards on three carries to help the Bulldogs defeat Morrill, 71-14, in the regular season finale Friday night in Bridgeport. Kolby Lussetto added 31 yards on two carries and had an interception on defense. 

Bridgeport had a total of 210 yards of total offense, 152 rushing and 58 yards passing. 

The Bulldogs ended the regular season with a 6-2 record, including a 4-0 record in district play. They have a bye this week before entering postseason play next week. Their time and opponent will be released this weekend.
