Scottsbluff chooses new city manager

After a long and thorough process, the City of Scottsbluff has chosen a new city manager.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - After a long and thorough process, the City of Scottsbluff has chosen a new city manager.

During this week’s city council meeting, Kevin Spencer who is currently the interim city manager was chosen to fill the position permanently. The two finalists were him and Matthew Schmitz.

A mixture of public opinion and the council members opinions were all took into consideration before he was ultimately chosen.

Currently, he wants to continue the plans set forward during his time as interim manager, and doesn’t have any new legislation set in place.
