Gift drive held for Scottsbluff family impacted by fatal accident

A member of the Scottsbluff community is helping the Charvot family during a difficult holiday season.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - A member of the Scottsbluff community is helping the Charvot family during a difficult holiday season.

On Nov. 8 Dylon Charvat lost his life in an accident at the Sugar Factory Terminal in Gering. Susan Whitaker is reaching out to members of the community to help the family out this holiday season.

Whitaker will be accepting clothes and toys for the children and other gifts for the mother. Whitaker has a full set of the children’s sizes, and what items to get the family.

People have until Dec. 15 to get gifts to Whitaker and she can pick them up or have them dropped of at her office in the State Building. The gifts can come wrapped or can be wrapped by Whitaker.
