SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a disturbance where the reporting party had a gun.

The suspect was 39-year-old, James Cress, of Terrytown.

Court documents stated that a repossession company came onto Cresses’ property to retrieve his vehicle.

Cress then came out of his home with a shot gun pointed at them.

From there the repossession employees called the police.

Police stated that the shot gun has four live rounds in it with one shell in the chamber.

When the officer tried to place restraints on Cress, he started to resist and tense up while the handcuffs were being placed on him.

Cress was arrested for Terroristic Threats, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, and Obstruction.
