US Air Force to host town halls in Kimball and Pine Bluffs
The United States Air Force and Army Corps of Engineers will be Kimball on January 24th and Pine Bluffs on January 25th to talk about their plans to acquire real estate in the area for their upcoming missile silo modernization project.

The United States Air Force and Army Corps of Engineers will be Kimball on January 24th and Pine Bluffs on January 25th to talk about their plans to acquire real estate in the area for their upcoming missile silo modernization project.
The first meeting will be held at The Sagebrush in Kimball on January 24th at 6:00 pm. The Air Force will set up stations to explain the real estate acquisitions that will be necessary for the project and have experts available to answer any questions land owners may have.
The second meeting will have the same format and take place January 25th at 6:00 pm at the Pine Bluffs Community Center.
The project that has been in the works for some time now is expected to break ground in the fall of 2023. The Air Force will be modernizing the minutemen III missile system including silos, control centers and other ground infrastructure.
