Gering schools name new Lincoln Elementary principal

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Jesse Neugebauer was named the new principal at Lincoln Elementary for the 2023-24 school year.

Neugebauer was a third-grade classroom educator for 10 years. He served in Metro Nashville Public Schools before returning to Nebraska in 2017 to educate young minds at Longfellow Elementary in Scottsbluff.

Neugebauer will succeed Principal Pam Baker who has retired serving the district for 42 years.

The Gering Board of Education is scheduled to approve Neugebauer at the March Board meeting.
