'Bingopalooza' nets fun and financial support
LODGEPOLE -- The Lodgepole Community Fund hosted Bingopalooza on Saturday, March 11, in conjunction with the Sidney Elks Lodge.
This event was a fundraiser for both entities, with proceeds being split. The event was held in the Lodgepole Community Hall. Food, fellowship and fun was had by all with bingo serving as the entertainment.
Tina Glanz won the cake donated by Wildeflour Baking Co., owned by Amy Richards. Kelsey Arrington won the black out Bingo prize. Thank you's go out to the Sidney Elk Lodge, Wildeflour Baking Co., Circle A Clips & Nails, Walmart, and Thrivent. Rita and Mark Bartling, provided the sound system and music during the event and Kacey Huff provided the grill for cooking.
Lodgepole Community Fund granted its proceeds to the Lodgepole Depot Museum to go towards paint and maintenance of the museum building.
The Lodgepole Community Fund (LCF) is an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation. LCF gathers charitable dollars to help with the upkeep and maintenance of the Panther Activity Center (PAC) and is also working to build an unrestricted endowment that helps to support project and programs with funding now and in the future.
