Police arrest man for pointing a firearm at motorists

Police arrested a 30-year-old man accused of pointing a firearm at motorists while driving his own vehicle.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Police arrested a 30-year-old man accused of pointing a firearm at motorists while driving his own vehicle. 

Scottsbluff Police says Deveron Molden was taken into custody on charges related to Terroristic Threats, Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony, Concealed Weapon, Resisting Arrest, and No Operators License.

According to police, Molden told authorities he'd pointed his fingers in a gun-like shape toward another driver during an altercation. Molden said he didn't have a gun in his car. 

Police searched the vehicle and found a 9mm handgun in the pouch behind the driver's seat.
