Nebraska steps out of conference play with a midweek matchup against North Dakota State on Tuesday night at Hawks Field.
First pitch between the Huskers and Bison is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.

Nebraska vs. North Dakota State
• The Huskers and Bison have met six times on the baseball diamond, with Nebraska holding a perfect 6-0 mark over North Dakota State.
• In their last meeting, Nebraska edged the Bison with a 4-3 win last season on April 20 in Lincoln.
• Prior to last season's meeting, the two teams last met in a doubleheader in 2005.

• Nebraska is one of four teams nationally with two everyday starters hitting at least .400 this season at the plate.
• Anderson is hitting .418 with nine doubles, two triples, six homers, 27 RBI and 16 runs, while Matthews is adding seven doubles, a triple, seven home runs, 33 RBI and 23 runs with a .402 hitting clip.

Walsh Coming Off Career Outing
• Set to make his first career start on the mound on Tuesday night against NDSU, Will Walsh is coming off a career outing last week at Creighton.
• Walsh toed the rubber for a career-high six innings, retiring 17 of the first 18 batters he faced.
• The redshirt sophomore didn't allow a hit until the 19th batter faced, which was a leadoff single in the bottom of the ninth.
• The Leawood, Kan., native allowed three runs, two earned, on two hits and struck out four Bluejays.
Matthews, Caron a Constant on the Base Path
• Brice Matthews and Josh Caron have been a constant on the base paths for the Huskers recently, as both enter the weekend having reached base safely in 20-plus games.
• Matthews comes into Tuesday night's matchup with North Dakota State on a 25-game reached base streak, while Caron has reached base safely in 22 straight games.
Big Red Nearing 400th Win at Hawks Field
• Playing in their 22nd season at Hawks Field, Nebraska is closing in on its 400th all-time win at the ballpark.
• Nebraska enters Tuesday night one win shy of No. 400 at Hawks Field, as the Huskers hold a 399-160-1 record at the home ballpark after the series win against Illinois last weekend.
• NU hasn't had a losing season at home in each of the last 21 seasons.
Huskers Slug Five Multi-Homer Games in 2023
• Through the first six weeks, four Huskers have totaled five multi-homer games for the Big Red this season.
• Josh Caron, Cole Evans and Gabe Swansen have each homered twice in a game once this season, while Max Anderson has compiled two multi-homer games this season.
• Since 2000, NU has had 72 individual multi-homer games, including a season-high eight times in 2000, 2001 and 2005. The five set this year are the most since having six multi-homer games in 2006.

- Sarah Harness recorded her 500th career strikeout two weekends ago. The junior has tallied 67 strikeouts this season and has combined for over 500 including her three seasons at Southern Illinois.
- Billie Andrews has tallied 10 home runs this season, she is now seventh all-time in Nebraska history in career homers with 37.
- Andrews is one of 12 returning players in the NCAA who hit 20 or more home runs last season.
- Sarah Harness recorded a no-hitter against New Mexico on Feb. 24, 2023. It marked the first no-hitter by a Nebraska pitcher since 2016.
- Mya Felder is the only returning Big Ten player who received All-Big Ten, All-Defensive and All-Tournament honors in 2022.
- Courtney Wallace is one of six returning Rawlings/NFCA Gold Glove recipients from last season.
Marshall, Scheve Record New Career Bests in Carolina
Wilmington, N.C. - Senior Will Marshall (Elburn, Ill.) and junior Gentry Scheve (Emporia, Kan.) both set new career-best rounds as the Nebraska men's golf team capped off their two-day run at the Seahawk Intercollegiate on Monday.
Marshall's final-round performance of 67 (-5) triumphed over his previous mark of 68 (-4), which he set at the Badger Invitational in Verona, Wisc. Sept. 13, 2022. His 54-hole score of 213 (-3) was one stroke off his career-best (212, Quail Valley, 10/18/21). He also tallied the second highest finish in his career, finishing 19th.
Scheve shot a 70 (-2) on Monday to beat his previous low of 71 (Hawkeye Invite, 4/17/22). His three-round score of 219 (+3) also set a career-best.
Reed Malleck, the junior from York, Neb., joined in on the fun Monday, tying his career-low round score of 69 (-3). He also set a new career-low 54-hole score of 216 (E). This is the second tournament in a row he tied his career-best.
Behind the stellar play throughout the Husker lineup, Nebraska surged four spots on the leaderboard Monday to claim a tie for 12th place with Coastal Carolina. The Huskers three-round score of 879 (+9) also marked their best effort of the spring.
TCU took home the team championship in a back-and-forth battle with Wright State and hosts UNC-Wilmington. The Horned Frogs finished with a stellar team score of 843 (-21), while Wright State came in one stroke behind. UNC-Wilmington, who took home the Seahawk Intercollegiate trophy in 2022, used a 275 (-13) to fly up the leaderboards, but ultimately fell short.
Barend Botha (Toledo) took home the individual title at the Country Club of Landfall with a three-round score of 204 (-12).
Caleb Badura (Sr., Aurora, Neb.) made his stroke-play debut for the Big Red this weekend. He finished with a 225 (+9), which included a final-round 73 (+1), his best round of the tournament.
Quinn Yost (Fr., Farmington, N.M.) rounded out the Husker contingent with a three-round score of 238 (+22).
