The Cheyenne County Sheriff's office is investigating a string of burglaries at the Sioux Army Depot igloos north of Sidney last week.

SIDNEY - The Cheyenne County Sheriff's office is investigating a string of burglaries at the Sioux Army Depot igloos north of Sidney last week.

Sheriff Adam Frerichs says four victims reported eight igloos were broken into on March 29 and another victim reported one igloo was broken into on Feb. 6.

Locks were cut on the former ammunition storage igloos, turned primarily into regular storage units. Among the items stolen were a Yamaha dirt bike, footlocker, and a pressure washer.

There was also criminal mischief to a nearby vehicle. 

Frerichs says they have no leads on a suspect at this time. If anyone has any information about the thefts, you're asked to call the Cheyenne County Sheriff's office at (308) 254-2922.
