SCOTTSBLUFF - Three Bearcat golfers finished in the top-10 as the hosts sailed to the team championship of the Scottsbluff Golf Invitational Monday at Scottsbluff Country Club. All three medalists ended the day within three shots of the top spot with a fourth just a stroke behind. Mitchell's Cael Peters garnered top medalist honors with a 74, winning in a playoff over Ogallala's Luke Hiltibrand.
Sidney struggled on the Scottsbluff Country Club course as the Red Raiders low golfer was John Beier with a 12-over par 84 to finish in 24th place. Jaeden Dill was two shots behind, carding an 86.
