SIDNEY -- At approximately 5:46 a.m. Wednesday, the Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash involving a single motor vehicle at the intersection of County Road 2 and Highway 19, south of Lorenzo.

Donald Miller, of Peetz, was driving a 2005 white Dodge Caravan north on Colorado Highway 113/Nebraska Highway 19 when the van drifted off the left side of the road. The vehicle continued north, colliding with an intersecting county road, before stopping north of the road in the easement between the highway and railroad tracks.

The highway was not blocked and there were no lane closures.

The 33-year-old Miller, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to Sidney Regional Medical Center by Regional West Ambulance Service.

The Sidney Volunteer Fire Department was also on scene.
