Colorado officials searching for felony warrant suspect

Colorado state and local officials are seeking a man who escaped while being served a felony warrant today.

SEDGWICK COUNTY, Colo. (Saturday, May 13) -- Colorado state and local officials are seeking a man who escaped while being served a felony warrant today.

At 1:55 p.m. Sedgwick County deputies arrived at 13852 Sedgwick County Road 11 in western Sedgwick County to contact Mario Luna-Lopez regarding a felony warrant. According to a press release issued by the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office, Luna-Lopez resisted arrest and fled on foot northbound. 

The Holyoke Police Department, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Colorado State Patrol and the Logan County Sheriff's Office  assisted in the search for Luna-Lopez. 

At last report, Luna-Lopez was still at large. He is a Hispanic man, 5' 6" tall, 165 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He is using an alias of "Raul Vega."

If anyone has any information on the location of Mario Luna-Lopez, call the Sedgwick County Communication's Center at 970-474-3355.

Officials caution the public not to approach Luna-Lopez.
