Scottsbluff PD awarded speed enforcement grant

SCOTTSBLUFF -- The Scottsbluff Police Department has been awarded a speed enforcement grant funded by the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.

“This grant is for speed enforcement on Broadway and 27th Street every Friday and Saturday starting on Friday June 9 and ending August 5. This grant will allow for two extra officers to patrol Broadway and 27th Street for speed and any other traffic violations every day of the grant,” said Sgt. Philip Eckerberg.
