Authorities discover methamphetamine in Scottsbluff residence

SCOTTSBLUFF - Scottsbluff authorities arrested a Scottsbluff man on drug charges this week.

Police say Benjamin De Los Santos, 49, was arrested after methamphetamine and a vial was discovered in a backpack and Santos' pocket during a warrant. 25 total grams of meth was found, according to authorities.

A digital scale, several small baggies, four empty syringes, a meth bong with white residue and a large torch were also discovered by law enforcement during the search.

Santos is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Habitual Criminal Enhancement. He faces 10 years in prison if found guilty.
