Traffic stop leads to arrest of Scottsbluff man

Authorities arrested a Scottsbluff man on drug and weapons charges after conducting a traffic stop.

SCOTTSBLUFF - Authorities arrested a Scottsbluff man on drug and weapons charges after conducting a traffic stop.

Scottsbluff police say Joshua Jaso, 35, of Scottsbluff, was arrested and charged with three possession charges, drug tax stamp violation, deadly weapon by a prohibited person, and a parking violation.

According to police, officers found $2,463 in cash, a zip lock bag with more than 25 grams of meth, a 4.5-inch knife, three more bags with white substance, and a digital scale during a search of Jaso and his vehicle.
