It will be a day full of activities at Gotta Park and the Kimball Public Pool on July 4th.

Starting at 10:00 am and going until noon, the Kimball Volunteer Fire Department will be giving truck rides for kids in their pumper trucks and their parade truck. Kids will also be able to spray the fire hoses at Gotta Park during this time.

From 11:00 am to noon, the adult lap swim will be a little early at the pool to make way for the noon to 4:00 pm swim party to celebrate Independence Day.

The party will feature an ice cream social sponsored by Shavonne Singleton Farm Bureau Financial Services in the gazebo outside the pool and a number of games with great prizes in the park as well. The City of Kimball puts on the event each year with sponsorships from around town. This year Kimball Health Services, Kimball Family Dentistry, Kimball Ace Hardware, Dollar General, First Tier Bank, Frenchman Valley Coop, Kimball State Bank, Little Bumble Bees, Points West Bank, The Sagebrush, the Schulte Family, Shear Touch/Holly Bohac and Sportsmens Liquor are all pitching in to grow the event.

104.3 KIMB will be at the pool from noon to 4:00pm playing music and grilling up complimentary hot dogs for party goers.
