City vehicles to be the focus at Tuesday's Board of Public Works meeting

The City of Kimball Board of Public Works will meet in a special meeting on Tuesday, July 25th at 5:00p.m.

The board is set to receive updates on the member transfer from High West to the City of Kimball and on the search for a new electrical engineering firm.

Aside from those topics, the slate will be filled with decisions that need to be made on city vehicles.

The board will discuss and is likely to approve the purchase of a UTV for the waste water treatment plant. They will also discuss purchasing the 2017 police pick-up for use by the electrical department. With new vehicles moving in, one could be on its way out, the electrical departments 2003 Chevrolet Silverado may be repaired or surplussed based on the boards Tuesday evenings discussions.

The meeting will be held in the Kimball City Council Chambers and is open to the public. The board may enter executive session to discuss some issues on the agenda.p
