Logan County Fair events start Friday
The week will be busy for children and adults, 4-H kids and parents, and those who just appreciate the rural lifestyle.

STERLING, Colo. -- Fair time officially starts in Logan County on Friday, July 28.
Friday events include the 4-H Fashion Review at Sterling Middle School and the Miss Rodeo Logan County Queens Contest. Call Amanda at 303-587-9398 or Janie at 970-630-6448 for location.
Saturday starts with the Jim Mason Memorial Roping at 10 a.m..
On Sunday, the Cowboy Worship Service will be held at 8 a.m. and the 4-H Performance Horse Show at 9 a.m.
Monday starts with the 4-H Ranch Horse Show at 9 a.m.
The 4-H Gymkhana will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, followed by the 4-H/FFA BBQ. The Sun Valley Rides Carnival opens at 5 p.m. Tuesday, with the Next Era Energy Extreme Bull Riding scheduled for 7 p.m.
The traditional Lions Club Cowboy Breakfast is 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, followed by Junior Hog Show at 8 a.m. Commercial booths and displays open at 12 p.m. The Junior Goat Show is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., and the carnival rides open up at 1:30 p.m.
The Logan County Farm Bureau will be hosting a pancake breakfast for livestock exhibitors and their families at 7 a.m. Aug. 3. The Junior Goat Show is at 1:30 p.m., carnival rides open at 5 p.m., Mutton Bustin' and the Dick Stull Memorial PRCA Rodeo is at 7 p.m. August 3 is also Support Armed Services Night and 4-H/FFA.
Friday, Aug. 4, starts with the PRCA Slack, Junior Beef Show and Dog Show at 8 a.m. The Poultry Show is at 1:30 p.m., carnival rides open at 4 p.m., Round Robin Showmanship starts at 4:30 p.m., Mutton Bustin' the Dick Stull memorial PRCA Rodeo and Miss Rodeo Logan Coronation is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the arena.
The parade is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday with the parade at 9 a.m. The Korrey Family Watermelon Feed is at 10 a.m. and carnival rides open at 10 a.m.
Saturday's Night Show features Josh Turner with Casey Donahew opening.
The Logan County Fair closes Sunday with the Demolition Derby at 5:30 p.m.
