Demolition grants are on the table as the Kimball Loan Advisory meets

By News Channel NebraskaThe Kimball Loan Advisory Committee will meet on Friday, August 11th at 7:30 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Kimball City Council Chambers at 223 S Chestnut St in Kimball.
The once monthly meeting will have some grants on the table that could change the Kimball skyline. They will review two separate grants for Mark Mietus. The first is a Demolition and Reclamation Grant for the garage located at 611 E. 3rd Street. The other r is a Demolition and Reclamation Grant for the house and apartment located at 315 S. Myrtle Street.
They will also consider approval of a business grant for Woody's Liquor and receive an update on existing loans.
The meeting will wrap up with an update on budget discussions that are underway with the Board of Public Works and Kimball City Council.
The public is welcome at the meeting. The next meeting will be September 12th.
