City crews have been able to replace a valve underneath 2nd St. on the east side of Chestnut Street. They will now pause work until after businesses have closed for the night. After businesses close water will be shut off and crews will work through the night to replace the broken water line and fill in both holes created by the incident.

While street closures may exist overnight, it is expected that traffic patterns will return to normal tomorrow.
