Chappell USA Day set for August 19

CHAPPELL -- The community of Chappell will be celebrating its second Chappell USA Day on Saturday, August 19.

All events will take place at the Chappell Plaza located between the Rusty Bucket and Cabela's Furniture.

Downtown Plaza events start at 3 p.m. 

There will be kids games, face painting and more. A Corn Hole tournament will take place with adult and youth divisions. The youth division starts at 4 p.m. and adults at 5 p.m.

Food will be available by The Rusty Bucket, Burgies, Chappell Lions Club, Heritage House (serving ice cream) and Buffalo Creek Coffee (serving beverages).

There will also be a beer garden.

Local talent will entertain starting at 6 p.m., and High Horses will be on stage 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
