The Kimball Longhorn football team fell to 1-3 on the season Friday after a trip to Grant resulted in a 55-0 loss to Perkins County. 

The Plainsmen dominated both sides of the ball, with 9 different players combining for 291 rushing yards on offense, while the Plainsmen defense held Kimball to only 34 yards rushing. The Longhorns relied heavily on their passing game throughout the game, as quarterback Ryker Behrend completed 6 of 17 passes for 90 yards, including a 48 yard strike to Brandon Paxton.

Next up for the Longhorns is a homecoming matchup with the Morrill Lions this Friday in Kimball. The Lions, 0-4 on the season are coming off a 58-0 loss to Bayard.
