Kimball Airport Authority to approve budget in special session

The Kimball Airport Authority will meet Monday, September 18th. They will hold a special session prior to their regular meeting. The special session will be called to order at 6:00 p.m. at the Kimball Flight Center.

There will be two motions during the meeting. First, the board is expected to approve their Fiscal Year 2023-2024 budget. After that, they will vote on increasing the Restricted Fund limit. If raised the limit will go up by 1%.

Immediately following the special session, the airport authority will hold their regular monthly meeting. That is where they will discuss financial reports and fuel reports from August of this year. They will also hear updates from the chairman on lights, hangars, runways, taxiways, the ramp, fences and farm ground.

The next meeting will be held on Monday, October 16th at 6:00 p.m.
