The City of Kimball Board of Public Works will meet on Tuesday, October 10th for their regular meeting. The meeting will begin at a new earlier time, 4:30pm. The meeting will be held in the city council chambers and be open to the public.

The board will receive reports from the treasurer, the superintendent and the city administrator and approve of the bills and financial reports from last month.

Carol Brehm from NMPP Energy will be on hand to discuss a service contract. There will be discussion and possible approval of the mayor's signatures on forms submitted to WAPA Electrical Services. Then Jacob Bradley from Olson Engineering will answer questions about the Electrical Master Plan for the City of Kimball.

The city hopes to break ground on a new electrical plant in early 2024, but supply chain issues and a main gas line running under the construction site might slow progress. The gas line is set to be moved, the board could learn details on that during the city administrators report.
