Sioux County vehicle accident involves students in school bus
The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating an accident involving a school bus, with students on board, in southern Sioux County Friday morning.
SIOUX COUNTY - The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating an accident involving a school bus, with students on board, in southern Sioux County Friday morning.
Nebraska State Patrol spokesman Cody Thomas told News Channel Nebraska the crash involved the bus and a semi-tractor-trailer at the intersection of S-E Road and S-6 Road at 8:10 a.m.
Thomas says all five children were checked and cleared by medical personnel at the scene.
The driver of the bus was transported to Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff by Valley Ambulance. An Airlink medical helicopter transported the semi-tractor-trailer driver to Regional West Medical Center.
The names of those involved in the accident have not been released by authorities.
The crash remains under investigation.
