Pedestrian accident blocks Kimball's busiest intersection

Police and EMT's responded to 3rd street (Highway 30) and Chestnut street (old Highway 71) at 11:52 am Tuesday for a reported vehicle vs. pedestrian accident.

The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to Kimball Health Services with unknown injuries. The driver of the vehicle was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian.

Police warn that there is a large red spot visible at the intersection. They say it is not blood, but rather a beverage that the pedestrian was carrying at the time of the accident.
