Kimball City Council set to meet after extended break
The Kimball City Council returns to the City Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday night. During their first meeting since October 17th, the council will spend some of the money they have spent the last three months budgeting.
Body cameras, in-car cameras, and a new police vehicle are all on the agenda. The Police Department hopes to add a 2019 Dodge Charger to its fleet. The vehicle is currently on display at Panhandle Auto in Kimball. The cameras would upgrade and expand the current systems in place at the department.
The council will also discuss the new surface for the playground at Gotte Park and get an update on the new playground equipment that will be installed on top of the new surface.
The approval of Tim Carlson to join the Board of Public Works Committee will also be discussed on Tuesday evening.
