OSHKOSH, Neb. -- A man was arrested in Oshkosh after a drive-by shooting and a standoff.

The Nebraska State Patrol said the Garden County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a drive-by shooting at 11:00 p.m. MT on Wednesday at the 400 block of E Ave. H.

Officials said there were no injuries reported from the shooting and the suspect's vehicle was found shortly after at a home in the 400 block of W 5th St. The suspect was reportedly 54-year-old Henry Schuff, of Oshkosh, and he is not allowed to have a firearm.

According to authorities, NSP was called in to help GCSO. NSP reportedly tried to talk to Schuff but he would not come out of the home.

Police said Schuff voluntarily came out of the home at 4:50 a.m. and was taken into custody

Officers reportedly used a search warrant at the home and found several firearms inside.

Schuff was lodged in Scotts Bluff County Jail for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and additional charges are pending. The drive-by shooting is still being investigated.
