'The Grinch' and Santa to entertain children December 3 at Fox Theater
The Sidney Police Department and Fraternal Order of Police No. 43 are hosting "The Grinch" 2 p.m. December 3 at the Fox Theater.
By News Channel NebraskaSIDNEY -- The Sidney Police have decided to change the order of the holidays a little. Instead of "Shop With a Cop," area children are invited to a movie at the Fox Theater.
In lieu of shopping this year the Sidney Police Department and FOP Lodge #43 have decided to treat everyone to a movie. Fox Theater is allowing police officers use the whole movie theater on December 3 to treat local children to a free 2 p.m. showing of the animated version of "The Grinch."
The movie is sponsored by Gehrig-Stitt Funeral Home.
The Sidney Police Department is providing snack packs for the first 150 kids to arrive at the movie.
Santa and The Grinch will be making a special appearance greeting everyone as they come in.
