SIDNEY -- Sidney's start month of December continued Sunday with the annual Shop With a Cop event and Cheyenne County Community Center's Holiday Vendor Fair on December 3.

Shop With A Cop is an annual event that historically has paired children with law enforcement officers to shop for Christmas. The children and officers would then meet to wrap the presents to be taken home.

This year, Sidney Police decided to host a movie event with the Fox Theater. The first 150 children to attend could have a snack pack.

All who attended could meet with Santa Claus and The Grinch.

The Holiday Vendor Fair included home businesses, crafts including bracelets, jellies and bottles and coffee cups. There were also teas, and make-up distributors and wreath designers.
