Alliance conducts interviews for new police chief

The city of Alliance conducted interviews to fill the position of police chief on Dec. 18.

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - The city of Alliance conducted interviews to fill the position of police chief on Dec. 18.

Three candidates were interviewed for the position; Kirk Felker, Terry Horner and Thomas Rhoades.

Kirk Felker is a lieutenant of the Alliance Police department and interim police chief. He has over 26 years with the APD.

Terry Horner is a captain with the Holt County, Missouri Sheriff Department. He has over 28 years of experience, which includes his times as police chief and county sheriff.

Thomas Rhoades just recently retired after more than 14 years as the police chief for the Parkview Health System in Fort Wayne Indiana, with over 32 years of policing experience.

Alliance will make a decision after the holidays.
