Suspect sought in early morning assault

Sidney Police are seeking a suspect in the early morning assault on an 84-year-old Sidney woman Wednesday.

SIDNEY -- Sidney Police officers responded to the Western Heritage Apartments on a report of an 84-year-old woman needing assistance from medical personnel at about 3:25 a.m. Wednesday.

The injuries were believed to be from an assault.

It was determined that a male subject known to the female resident had been allowed into her apartment at which time he assaulted her and stole her 2012 Chevy Cruz red in color.

The victim was treated and released from Sidney Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect has been identified as Nathan J. Robinson and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
