Guhl sentenced for Theft by Receiving

SIDNEY -- On February 7, 2024, John Guhl, was sentenced after being convicted of charges of Theft by Receiving or Retaining Stolen Property (Class IIA Felony) and three counts of Burglary (Class IIA Felony).
He was sentenced to the Nebraska Department of Corrections on Count 1 not less than five years and not more than 10 years, on Count 2 a term of not less than five years and not more than 10 years, on Court 3 a term of not less than five years and not more than 10 years an on Count 4 a term of not less than five years and not more than 10 years with credit for 316 days previously incarcerated.
The sentences are to run concurrently.
The charges are related to thefts from igloo storage units north of Sidney between March 1 and April 6, 2023.
