Fair Board announces night show talent ... next week
The Cheyenne County Fair Board is inviting the public to "The Big Reveal" party on April 2. That night, the Fair Board will announce the two night show entertainment acts for the 2024 Cheyenne County Fair.
SIDNEY -- The Cheyenne County Fair Board has announced the 2024 County Fair will include two nights of entertainment with four bands performing at the fairgrounds in Sidney.
The question is who. Will it be a "Hank," an "Emily Lou," a "Miranda," or an up and rising star that will have everyone driving to the nearest Honky Tonk stage? All are valid questions to be answered ... on April 2.
The Cheyenne County Fair Board is planning a "big reveal" event at the Sidney Elks Lodge; blue and pink are optional. Food, fun and the anticipated names are definitely on the menu.
Fair Board member Ryan Filsinger said at the March 25 Fair Board meeting that the "Big Reveal" is planned for April 2.
"We are set for April 2nd, which is Tuesday, a week from tomorrow, from 5 to 7, with The Big Boy," Filsinger said.
He said the doors open at 5 p.m., with a free taco bar and keg beer starting at 5:30 p.m. Food will be served until 7 p.m. There will also be a cash bar that night.
The Big Reveal will be held in association with The Big Boy's "Keys to Kenny."
In addition to the food and entertainment announcement, the Fair Board is offering a drawing for tickets, and discounts on sponsorship packages will also be offered.
Tickets to the 2024 Cheyenne County Fair and Rodeo, including the two nights of live music, go on sale Tuesday, April 2 at 7 p.m. at cheyennecountyfair.com.
