KIMBALL -- Parents can take their children to the Kimball Public Library Tuesdays 3:45-4:45 p.m. for Lego Club.

Children’s Librarian Amelia Shada plans unique Lego activities for the kids to challenge themselves. One week was called “Build Upside Down” where she taped the bases to the bottom of the tables, and they had to build on them upside down.

Kimball Library Director Amber Sweetland said, “Lego Club promotes problem solving and creativity.”

The club is open to children ages 5-12. The library hosts it during the school year, the last day being May 7.

“The activities we do at the library are to obviously support literacy, and it’s also to encourage interaction between the other youth in the community and to just get them into the building,” Sweetland said.
