KIMBALL -- Thursday was the first night of the Kimball Longhorn’s 2024 Creative Collections that featured the artwork of students from kindergarten through high school.

The show included several variations of art such as drawings, paintings, sculptures and creative writing.

The high school’s advanced art class also created a miniature golf course with the help of Art Teacher Mark Jefferis.

“The purpose is to show what our students are capable of and to give them an opportunity to showcase what they can accomplish,” Jefferis said.

Jefferis says he wants the community to attend the event to have a fun experience and enjoy seeing that art can be a big part of your life.

The art show goes until 9 p.m. Thursday and 4 - 7 p.m. April 12.
