One injured, one in custody in stabbing incident
ALLIANCE -- A man was transported with injuries and a suspect is in custody following a reporting stabbing incident.
By News Channel NebraskaALLIANCE -- Early Wednesday, May 15, the Alliance Police Department responded to a 911 call of a stabbing currently in progress inside in a residence.
The 911 caller also advised he/she was still inside the residence and was hiding from this person as he/she feared they would be "next."
Officers responded and apprehended the suspect. A stabbing victim was located inside the residence who was quickly transported to the Box Butte General Hospital.
A preliminary investigation ensued during which a search warrant was executed.
The male suspect was transported to the Box Butte County Jail and charges have been recommended.
The male victim was transported from Alliance by Air Link for the injuries sustained during this incident.
Names were not released at this time. This case remains open and active pending further investigation.
