ALLIANCE -- At 2:24 a.m. today, June 26, police received a call of a home invasion.

James Haller, 101 S. Flack Ave., reported he had just shot an intruder who had forcibly entered his home.

Alliance authorities report the suspect, Jerome Robb was pronounced dead at the scene.

Although the investigation is ongoing, evidence on the scene is consistent with the description of events provided by Haller.

The deceased was transported for a routine autopsy by authority of the coroner.

The case will be reviewed by the district attorney; however no charges have been recommended at this time.
