Nearly $1.7 million raised for cancer research
SCOTTS BLUFF COUNTY, Ne. – The Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its 2024 event, hosted near Minatare.
This year’s event, held June 7 and 8 brought together more than 3,000 attendees, all united in their support for cancer research and local health and wellness programs.
Thanks to the generosity and support of attendees, sponsors, and volunteers, the event raised $1,685,176.87 for the Buffett Cancer Center and $187,242 for local wellness initiatives. Ninety percent of the funds raised will be directed to the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, where they will support groundbreaking cancer research and treatment initiatives.
The remaining 10 percent was distributed to local health and wellness programs, ensuring that the impact of the Cattlemen’s Ball is felt throughout the community.
“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we received this year,” said Scott Schiff, 2024 Hosts of the Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska, Inc. “The funds raised will make a significant difference in the fight against cancer and in supporting health and wellness initiatives in our local communities.”
The 2024 Cattlemen’s Ball was hosted by the Scott and Kristin Schiff Family, who provided a beautiful and welcoming venue just north of Minatare, Nebraska. Their dedication and hard work, along with that of our committee chairs, volunteers, and sponsors, made this year’s event a resounding success.
