SIDNEY - The Sidney High School girls golf team placed four golfers in the top 15 to win their season opening tournament at Hillside Golf Course in Sidney on Tuesday.

Claire Jordan shot an 87 (+15) to finish third. That led the Lady Raiders, followed by Josette McConnell in fourth place at 94 (+22). Katie Raffelson, 9th, Aubrey Campbell, 13th, and Jordan DeNovellis, 18th, rounded out the Sidney golfers. 

The Lady Raiders out shot runner-up Chadron by 16 strokes to win the team title, 384-400. McCook finished third in the team standings.

Scottsbluff's Addie Peck won the individual invite title at 79 (+7) and Reese Ribera, of Ogallala, finished runner up at 86 (+14). 

The Lady Raiders also won the junior varsity team title. Cali Haas, of Sidney, won the individual title with a 103 (+31).
