SIDNEY -- Sidney girls' varsity and junior varsity golf teams competed in Scottsbluff earlier this week, placing in the top three. 

Sidney’s Varsity team placed third with a score of 115. Second place went to York with a score of 109. Scottsbluff placed first with a score of 107. 

Chadron placed fourth, scoring 116; Gering placed fifth, scoring 154; Ogallala placed sixth, scoring 174; Alliance placed seventh, scoring 216. 

Sidney player Claire Jordan had the fourth lowest individual varsity score of 91. Reese Ribera of Ogallala placed third with a score of 89. Elliott Selzer of Scottsbluff placed second with a score of 88. Addie Peck of Scottsbluff placed first with the lowest individual score of 79. 

Fifth place went to Elle Malleck of York with a score of 91. Sixth place went to Reese Ritterbush of Chadron with a score of 93. Seventh place went to Taegan Bach of Chadron with a score of 94. Eighth place went to Josie Rauert of York with a score of 99. Ninth place went to Katie Raffelson of Sidney with a score of 99. Tenth place went to Regan Doll of Gering who scored 99. 

Sidney player Aubrey Campbell tied for 19th place with a score of 112, and Sidney player Cali Haas tied for 26th place with a score of 118. 

Sidney’s Junior Varsity team won first place with a score of 162. Gering JV placed second with 180; Scottsbluff JV placed third with 195; Scottsbluff JV2 placed fourth with 221; Alliance JV placed fifth with 292. 

Sidney player Jordan DeNovellis had the lowest individual junior varsity score of 102. Ashlynn Feil of Gering placed second with a score of 103. Ruth Lively of Scottsbluff placed third with a score of 107. Lia Capriotti of Sidney placed fourth with a score of 108. Myah Villafranca of Gering placed fifth with a score of 116. Ailea Stich of Scottsbluff placed sixth with a score of 119. Eden Jordan of Sidney placed seventh with a score of 119. Addison Carmody of Scottsbluff placed eighth with a score of 119. Elinor Kokjer of Sidney placed ninth with a score of 121. Maggie McCarthy of York placed tenth with a score of 122. 

Sidney player Kat Jallen placed 16th with a score of 128.
