KIMBALL -- The Kimball Range Judging team competed in the FFA State Range Judging competition earlier this week, with one student placing high enough to earn a ribbon.

Out of 205 junior competitors, Trey Cook took home a green ribbon for placing in the top 45. He placed 43rd, Miles Anderson placed 83rd, Wyatt Cook placed 84th, and Lane Cook placed 126th. As a team, the students placed 17th out of 53 teams.

“They all did very well for all the things they had to learn in a short amount of time, and they all improved since doing their first competition,” said Interim Ag Teacher Brittany Cook.

In the senior division, Nolan Cook got 101st place and Jarrett Schutz placed 195th , placing last as a team. Brittany Cook said they did well considering they were down a team member while the rest of the teams had four team members.
