KIMBALL -- The Kimball Police Department made a DUI arrest Sunday night with the assistance of the Nebraska State Patrol. 

The Kimball Police Department received a report of a possible impaired driver within the city limits of Kimball. The officers located and stopped the vehicle in question in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street. 

Upon further investigation, officers observed signs of impairment, leading to the arrest of 47-year-old Levi Howell, who was then charged with driving under the influence. 

The Kimball Police Department said in a statement that its officers are “committed to ensuring public safety and will continue to respond swiftly to reports of dangerous driving behavior.” 

The department says all subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
