KIMBALL -- The second suspect identified in a recent vehicle theft was located and taken into custody, while the other suspect was released.

Joshua Molczyk was arrested on Oct. 18 in connection with the theft, but his charges have since been dropped.

“The information a witness provided regarding Molczyk’s involvement was later found to be unreliable,” said Chief of Police Jose Ruiz.

Moczyk is still in custody at the Kimball Jail for an unrelated charge out of Hall County.

The second identified suspect, Raymond Martinez, was arrested and charged with felony theft.

He appeared in court via Zoom from the Scottsbluff Detention Center on Oct. 23. His next court appearance is set for Nov. 13 in Kimball County Court. His bond is set at $100,000.

The remaining two suspects are still at large.

This is an ongoing investigation, and more information will be released when it becomes available.
