Ogallala authorities seeking pedestrian accident suspect

The Ogallala Police Department is seeking the identity of the driver of an SUV that collided with a pedestrian Sunday, November 17.

OGALLALA -- Ogallala law enforcement are seeking the driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian Sunday, November 17.

At about 5 p.m. Sunday, November 17, a dark-colored SUV, possibly red in color, was traveling North on East A Street and turned West onto 5th Street.

The vehicle stuck a pedestrian who was crossing the street in the intersection of East A and 5th. The vehicle left the scene, traveling west on West 5th to about G or H Street when the vehicle turned North. Direction of travel after that point is unknown.

The Ogallala Police Department is asking for help identifying the vehicle or driver. Tri-County Crime stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for your anonymous information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this or any other crime
