GRANT, Neb. — The Sidney High School speech team delivered a strong performance at the Perkins County Speech Meet Saturday, securing multiple top finishes and a third-place overall team ranking.

Leading the way for the Raiders was the Oral Interpretation of Drama (OID) team of Dagen Lee, Kennedy Hobson, Raven Dinorog, Rachel Ernst, and Kyah Hicks, who took first place in their category.

In individual events, Raven Dinorog claimed second place in Serious Prose, while Kennedy Hobson finished third in Program Oral Interpretation (POI). Josette McConnell also earned a podium finish with a third-place showing in Extemporaneous Speaking.

Other notable finishes included Laurel Dadgostar, who placed fourth in Poetry, and the duet acting team of Hobson and Dinorog, who took fourth place in their event.

Sidney Danz Team Shines at Lexington Dance Competition

LEXINGTON, Neb. — The Sidney Danz Team delivered a standout performance at the Lexington Dance Competition, bringing home a first-place victory in the Kick category.

The team also placed third in Hip Hop.impressed in Hip Hop, securing a third-place finish against tough competition.

Senior Keira Neumann earned individual recognition in the Top Gun Showdown, claiming the title for Overall Best Kicks.\
