BRUSH, Colo. — A Brush man has been arrested following an investigation into child sex abuse material, the Brush Police Department announced Thursday.

Matthew Harding was taken into custody on Thursday after officers executed a felony warrant charging him with 64 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child. He is currently being held without bond at the Morgan County Detention Center, pending advisement.

The investigation began in October 2024, when Brush Police Investigations received a cyber tip from Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC). A social media platform had flagged material containing child sexual abuse content, prompting law enforcement to open a case. As the investigation progressed, additional cybertips linked to the same suspect were reported.

Authorities determined that Harding possessed and distributed multiple files containing child sex abuse material.

The case remains under investigation, and police have not released further details.
