Sidney and Greater Area (SAGA) Fund applications open for April 2025 Grant Cycle

SIDNEY -- The Sidney and Greater Area (SAGA) Fund announces the open application period for its April 2025 grant application cycle.
SAGA invites philanthropic organizations and innovative projects in Sidney and the surrounding areas to seek funding. The SAGA Fund is dedicated to igniting positive changes and addressing local needs through strategic support aimed at enhancing the community’s well-being.

As part of SAGA's commitment to nurturing growth and collaboration, the SAGA Fund provides vital financial assistance to deserving organizations and initiatives. Through its collective efforts, SAGA strives to create a lasting impact on the residents of Sidney and its surrounding communities.
Grant applications are accepted biannually, April 1 and October 1. The SAGA Fund Advisory Committee thoroughly evaluates all applications, selecting projects that align with our mission, vision and values and demonstrate potential for meaningful community impact. The recipients are reviewed and confirmed by the Nebraska Community Foundation before receiving funds.
To be considered for the upcoming April grant cycle, interested organizations can submit their applications by the upcoming deadline of April 1, 2025. The SAGA Fund encourages initiatives across diverse sectors, including education, healthcare, environment, arts and culture, social services, and more.
